While transgenderism was nearly unknown in the majority of households a decade ago, suddenly it seems as though it is breathing down our necks and seeping into our homes and families like a cancer. I don’t recall, at least in my lifetime or in recent history, an ideology that has so quickly transformed a culture. In fact, the trend of teenage girls suddenly claiming a desire to become a boy is so rampant that this new phenomenon has been coined: Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria. What started with a heart-wrenching plea for protection, eventually called for tolerance. Soon, the activists were swelling with confidence and tolerance slithered into a demand for acceptance, then stood tall shouting for affirmation, and is now punishing any dissenters who will not celebrate the gender identity mania. But what is the end game? Why are they so determined to force us to not only accept transgenderism as real and healthy for the individuals, but also to ensure that not a difference of opinion is heard?

This is not only being enforced by public persuasion and media, but it is rapidly being pushed through legislation as well. While several bills regarding such demands have failed, such as SB 219, in which state senator Scott Weiner tried to pass a bill punishing repeated misgendering by fines, a few are sliding through. We know from past experience with our judicial system, laws are like rabbits: where there are a few, there will be more. This is because when you attempt to micromanage behavior rather than addressing the heart, you must regulate each and every possible scenario. As of December 21, 2015, it is now illegal in New York City for employers, landlords, and business owners to use the correct, biological pronouns for an individual who otherwise identifies, to use a person’s legal name that is not their preferred name, or to prevent a transgender individual from using a restroom facility that is intended for those of their biological opposite sex. As if that were not enough, it is also now illegal to enforce a sex-specific dress code on an individual who identifies as the opposite sex. It is furthermore illegal to force transgender and gender non-conforming people to use a single-occupancy facility (nyc.gov).

Aside from the laws being passed in state legislatures around the country, judges are also setting wildly unconstitutional precedents in favor of transgender rights while completely disregarding parental rights. For example, in 2017 an Ohio judge granted custody of a minor child to her grandparents against her parent’s wishes because they would not allow her to transition to a male, citing religious beliefs (washingtontimes.com/news). In Texas, a father of a six-year-old boy could lose his parental rights for refusing to allow him to transition to a girl. The most tragic aspect of this case, however, is that according to both the father and the parents of some of the boy’s friends “James really desires to be a boy when he is not in the presence of his mother, who is responsible for enrolling the child into school as a girl…” (christianpost.com/news).

Most therapists are now not only encouraging transition but discouraging postponing transition until adulthood. “’What if we do this?’ Molly recalled asking a gender therapist, back when they were debating the pros and cons of letting Gracie (their then four-year-old son) transition. ‘What if we let our son walk into the world in a dress with fairy wings, and crowns, and high heels, and even just in regular girl clothes … and then he changes his mind?’

‘That’s not the question,’ the therapist told Molly. ‘The question is, what if you don’t do it?’” (www.kqed.org). They are using the fear tactics to push parents into irrational and illogical parenting based on a child’s every whim. They are playing on emotion rather than calling for reason.

So what happens to a child who is put on puberty blockers? What happens to a child that transitions to the opposite sex? In both cases, in all likelihood the child will become permanently sterile. “…Pubertal suppression at Tanner (also known as Sexual Maturity Rating) Stage 2 followed by the use of cross-sex hormones will leave these children sterile and without gonadal tissue or gametes available for cryo-preservation.” (Dr. Michelle Cretella, jpands.org/vol21no2/cretella). Additionally, all sex-reassignment surgeries (excluding non-sex-organ procedures such as breast augmentation or removal) render the patient permanently sterile as well. Even those who elect not to alter the penis or vagina will often elect to remove other reproductive organs such as the uterus and ovaries for women or testicles for men. So consider, aside from the long-term health risks of cross-sex hormone therapy that scientists and physicians still understand very little about, what is ultimately destroyed in this process? The seed.

In homosexual relationships this is more obvious. Recently there was an article about a homosexual couple in which the mother of one of the two men carried her own grandchild as a surrogate for them (buzzfeednews.com). Aside from such artificial means of having children, homosexual couples cannot conceive a child. Worse yet, regardless of desire to do so, at least one partner in a male homosexual relationship ejaculates his genetic seed via sperm into his partner’s anus where it will inevitably die. In lesbian relationships, the eggs simply never become fertilized. So, here too, there is one thing (aside from the many health issues and diseases associated with homosexuality) that gets destroyed: the seed.

Abortion sadly has the same inevitable outcome. Only this time the seed has been inserted into an egg, conceived a new life, and thus has gestated to some point of development. Now the seed is a living, growing human being. Abortion is sadly becoming more and more accessible and several states now allow abortion up to thirty-two weeks. In Virginia recently, Virginia House of Delegates member Kelly Tran introduced House Bill number 2491, which would remove almost all restrictions on abortion from Virginia Law. “House majority leader Todd Gilbert pressed her on just how close to the moment of delivery a woman could have an abortion. He asked if a woman could request an abortion when she was dilating.

Tran responded, ‘Mr. Chairman, that would be a decision that the doctor, the physician, and the woman would make at that point.’

Gilbert pressed further, saying, ‘I understand that. I’m asking if your bill allows that.’

Tran answered, ‘My bill would allow that, yes.’” (christianheadlines.com).

According to the ACLJ investigation, Virginia Governor Ralph Northam gave a pathetic attempt at skirting the issue stating, “legislators, who are mostly men, shouldn’t be telling a woman what she should or shouldn’t be doing with her body.” (christianheadlines.com). He went on to say that it would be the mother’s decision whether a baby would be resuscitated after a failed late-term abortion (Fox News, youtube.com). According to AP News, “Lawmakers in New York cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments from birth…”

So, the three most hotly contested issues in the United States today: abortion, homosexuality, and transgenderism can all be boiled down to one thing: destroying human life before it ever has a chance. Why? What is behind this not only tolerance of disregarding and destroying human seed, but embracing it and calling it evil to stop it? It goes back to God’s very first command to human beings: “God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth…” (Genesis 1:28, NASB). God did not arbitrarily create sex for a pleasurable experience that would accidentally reproduce human life in some cases. His intent from the very beginning was for man to not only reproduce, but to multiply, and to fill the earth. You could also make the same arguments for those who push global warming, many of whom espouse the idea that the earth is overpopulated. Strategies for population reduction are being discussed around the world.

Jesus said, “The thief (Satan) comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10, NASB). Satan hates human life. He will destroy it in any manner he can. If he can’t kill them in the womb, he will make them sterile so they can’t reproduce. He doesn’t have that power over their body (unless God allows him to cause disease such as in the case of Job). What he can do is tempt people into sin that causes sterilization. Ultimately, even with sterilization barring them from being able to reproduce the next generation, Satan isn’t through with them. He has to finish them off. Studies have shown that nearly 40% of transgenders will attempt suicide at some point in their lives (Anderson, Ryan. When Harry Became Sally). Contrary to the lies the media purports, this is not due to a lack of affirmation. In fact, many will attempt suicide despite full affirmation and even sex-change surgeries. You cannot live a lie, destroy the very fabric of what it means to be human and reject the very purpose for which you created and expect to find happiness.

Further, the fact that Christian parents are allowing their children to “transition” is shameful, and they need to be brought to repentance before it is too late for the children. Children cannot possibly understand the long-term and permanent effects of their decision. God has entrusted parents to protect their children, not to put them in the enemy’s hands. Studies have shown that 80% of pre-pubescent children will grow out of gender dysphoria and come to reconcile with their biological sex (ncbi.nlm.nih.gov). However, the opposite is true with children who are affirmed and allowed to socially transition (cross-dressing, opposite sex name and identity, etc…) or begin puberty blockers. “In contrast, the single study of pre-pubertal children with GD (Gender Dysphoria) who received pubertal suppression makes clear that as many as 100 percent of these children will face a transgender adulthood.” (ncbi.nlm.nih.gov).

Recognize the spiritual warfare going on. We have got to stop tuning our ear to the wavelength of the culture. We cannot base reality on feelings or on desires. We cannot allow our children to give into their every feeling or desire anymore than God allows us to have or to do everything we desire. God is not a cosmic fairy godmother ready to grant our every wish. He created us for a purpose, and we will only find happiness and fulfillment in pursuing that purpose. To lead your children to do otherwise is child abuse. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you;” (Jeremiah 1:5, NASB). God has a plan and a purpose for your child and it is certainly not to destroy the life and the seed in which He has placed in them. Rather He intended them to protect, preserve and to reproduce it and to teach the next generation of the goodness of our God.

  1. Wow! Never even thought about Satan using this deception to prevent people from producing children.

  2. It is true, transgenderism was in the closet, at one time, and now, in these last days, every kind of confusion, sexual sin, along with witchcraft and a ragging devil, joined with his children, hates God’s love, and does everything he can, to separate us from that love! Why are some people straight and some people gay, or trans-gendered? Why do people kill, hate or do the most ungodly things they do in this world? Why? Every person has a brain, and a brain, not protected, can be fixated or imprinted into any mode of thinking! A person is not born gay or trans-gendered, but at some point, the psycho-sexual and functional mindset has been reprogrammed! The conditioning process takes place in the subliminal mind and makes its way to the conscious mind, and thus, the person is a slave to the reprogramming and all of its trappings! This reprogramming is done in secret by the devil’s secret agents, when the victim is very young or when they are at a very vulnerable age! The person is a victim and only Jesus can make them free! Jesus is the creator and only He has the power to undo the reprogramming of the devil!
